  Luis F. Morales. President
    President of NAHREP Atlanta and Broker/Owner of Weichert Realtors, Luis Morales launched the two-office company specifically to serve the fast-growing Latino market. He takes pride in being one of the very first Latino real estate agency owners in the State of Georgia. His company had expanded in its four years prior to becoming a Weichert Realtors franchise to include 30 agents, 50% of them Latino, a professional team that covers a sizeable portion of the emerging market in Buford and Gainesville. Luis entered real estate in January 1996 as an agent with Prudential Georgia Realty and became one of the organization's top producers in six and a half years and was named sales managing broker for a Gainesville office. He was recognized in 2002 by Georgia Trends Magazine as one of the "40 under 40 most successful people in Georgia." He became a Weichert franchisee in February 2006 and continues his strong growth in the market.   Miguel Hawkins - President Elect
    Miguel Hawkins is a Senior Mortgage Consultant for the Gwinnett County location of Vertical Mortgage. An Argentine native, he relocated to the United States in 1989 and made his home in Atlanta in 1994. He is fluent in both english and spanish comes to Vertical with more than 5 years experience in the mortgage industry, most of them with a well-known retailer in Atlanta. He immediately rose to the top of the his company, set numerous production records, and won awards for top producer within his branch and company. Miguel has built his solid reputation and career as a top producer by securing and running accounts for some of Atlanta's finest and highest producing residential home builders and real estate agent teams.   Teresa Palacios Smith - Vice President
    Is Vice President of Business Development & Cultural Initiatives Prudential Georgia Realty. Teresa is responsible for business development and manages the International and Rental Division of Prudential. She is very involved in corporate marketing of relocation services, group moves and Prudential's affinity programs. She works closely with local companies and corporations, new businesses, emerging technology companies and organizations, which attract talent to the Atlanta area. Teresa works closely with Hispanics helping them achieve the dream of home ownership. She is involved in conducting workshops and seminars that provide education on the home buying and home selling process. Teresa has served as the 2005 Chair of Georgia Hispanic Chamber of Commerce. She is on the NAHREP Atlanta Board, and Metro Atlanta Relocation Council (MARC).   Josefina Cordero Knapp - Secretary
    Josefina received her undergraduate degree in 1993 from The Ohio State University and her JD from Capital University in 1996. She has been a closing attorney for 8 years. Since 2001 she has been with the law firm of O'Kelley & Sorohan LLC, concentrating her practice in residential real estate and became a Member of the firm in 2006. A native Spanish speaker, Josefina has been actively involved in helping the Hispanic population achieve the American dream of homeownership by building a large Hispanic practice for the firm's Gwinnett county location. She currently manages the Alpharetta office for the firm.   David Correa
    Native of Colombia, South America, with family immigrating to the United States in 1989, high school and college education in the US, plus 9 years of work experience in both the U.S. and abroad. Through past and existing business relationships and connections in North, Central, and South America, there has been a heightened understanding of cultural differences, similarities, and needs. Prior to joining Wells Fargo Home Mortgage, David worked as a senior loan officer with SunTrust Mortgage for three years, where he also served as the Chairman of the Hispanic Advisory Board and became a Mortgage Bankers Association Path to Diversity Scholar. Now at Wells Fargo Home Mortgage, David serves as the Sales Manager of Hispanic Markets, where he is responsible for managing a team that focuses on helping Hispanics achieve the American Dream.   Diana Allen
    Prior to joining Countrywide, Diana worked at HomeBanc Mortgage Corporation for over 4 years as a Business Development Manager and Mortgage Banker were she received several recognitions and awards by the organization specially for her significant contributions to their Hispanic Initiative: HomeBanc En Espanol. Now at Countrywide she serves as a team leader for their acquired Hispanic Division were she continues to embrace her team and the community to fulfill the dream of homeownership for our community. Diana moved from Bogota Colombia to United States in 1998, over the years she's developed extensive experience in management, marketing, strategic planning and business development.   Janeth Ochoa
    Janeth Ochoa was born in Sacramento, California. She relocated with her family to Gerogia in 1996 to start a career in Real Estate and Insurance. Janeth was a "Rookie of the Year" in 2003 and "Realtor of the Year" in 2004. She bacame a Senior Partner with her Real Estate company Weichert Realtors - Private Realty Group in 2005. Janeth started her own Allstate Agency in 2005 in Braselton Georgia. She was in the top three producers for Allstate Insurance in Georgia in 2006.   Joe O'Kelley

  Kelly Vespucci
    Olga "Kelly" Vespucci is a native of Havana, Cuba, was raised in South Florida, and is a Graduate of the School of Business Administration at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia, attended the Graduate School of Business at Washington University in Saint Louis, Missouri and a post graduate program at Harvard University in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Kelly has worked in the residential real estate lending industry for 26 years in many roles as a loan processor, loan officer, underwriter, manager, President of an appraisal firm and real estate escrow closing firm and a mortgage broker, has worked as a pool underwriter for an MI company, and as Single Family Programs Manager and Director of two different state housing finance agencies (Georgia and Washington state). Kelly also served on the adjunct faculty of North Seattle Community College's Real Estate Department. Kelly is a Senior Product Manager with Fannie Mae in Atlanta and also serves on the Board of Directors of Progressive Redevelopment, Inc., one of the south's largest non-profit affordable housing developers and its supportive services subsidiary, CaringWorks. She also enjoys serving as a member of the Scholarship Review Committee of the Hispanic College Fund and as a USO volunteer. Kelly enjoys cooking, traveling, writing and listening to music, and keeping up with her teenage son, a dog, a cat and the best husband in the world, Rick.

 

  Ricardo Delvasto
    Began in the mortgage industry in 1997 with Bank of America as a loan processor without prior experience. In 1998 was promoted to team leader of the group which processed the loans for the Southwest region, which included Texas and New Mexico. In 2000 was promoted to unit manager and created a bi-lingual Spanish speaking processing team. The team consisted of 8 processors, all of which spoke fluent Spanish. Additionally we had two underwriters and two loan closers. In 2001 accepted a position as a loan officer with Bank of America, in 2003 I joined SunTrust Mortgage as a loan originator, then in 2005 I returned to mortgage operations manager.
